Zealand, or Aotearoa (meaning “land of the long
white cloud”), is a small country situated in
the South Pacific Ocean, far away from the rest of the
world. Our isolation has allowed the continuation of
our unique and precious natural heritage. The landscape
is diverse; from spectacular mountain ranges, active
volcanoes, glaciers and fiords to beautiful sandy beaches
and lush rainforests. New Zealand is proud of its reputation
